Beth Napoli is a Los Angeles-based cinematographer. Coming from a family of artists, her passion for creating moving imagery stemmed from an early age. A love of photography and cinema coalesced into a career in filmmaking.
Beth studied studio art with a focus on photography at Saint Mary’s College in Indiana. She later earned her MFA in cinematography from Florida State University where she was unanimously chosen by the faculty for the Pathfinder Award, which is awarded to the student they deem most likely to succeed.
Her experience spans narrative films, commercials, music videos, documentaries, and immersive projects. Beth’s work has screened at renowned festivals worldwide from Camerimage to Cannes’ Emerging Filmmakers Showcase. She has collaborated with brands such as Apple, Zeiss, Red, Sharp, Nestlé, and Hyundai.
Beth served as cinematographer for the 2024 feature ‘Rally Caps,’ directed by Lee Cipolla and starring Judd Hirsch, Amy Smart, and Carson Minniear.
She has collaborated extensively with Erin Brown Thomas, including two pilots and over a dozen short films. Their latest project, ‘Chasers,’ which Beth both shot and produced, is set to premiere at Sundance Film Festival in January 2025.
Beth strives to push the creative goals of each project and craft visually compelling stories that resonate with audiences.
